We thought we were embarking on a great adventure by studying abroad in Chile. Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into. We first met when we landed in the country at the same time from different flights. Our host families lived near each other so numbers were exchanged. Things got off to a slow start since some pretty big hurdles had to be cleared (Eric had a girlfriend, Bonnie was entrenched in the idea of 'when in Chile...'). But after a couple months, we went on our first date and never looked back. Many adventures and seven years later, we decided to take the plunge and get married.
